At Memorill, every memoir and memorial project is created personally for you and your family. Because our products are highly personalised and made specifically from the stories, photographs, and information you provide, different cancellation and refund conditions apply from those of standard retail products.
Please read the following policy carefully before confirming your final draft.
1. Printed Memoir Books
Before your memoir book is sent for printing, we will provide you with a digital proof for review.
You will have the opportunity to review the content, layout, photographs, and other relevant details before giving us approval to proceed with printing.
Before Printing
If your book has not yet entered production, please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to request changes or discuss cancellation.
We will not begin printing until you have confirmed that the digital proof is acceptable.
After Approval and Printing Has Begun
Once you have approved the digital proof and we have begun printing your book:
- The order can no longer be cancelled.
- The printed book cannot be returned.
- The order is no longer eligible for a refund.
This is because each memoir is individually created and printed specifically for you and cannot be resold or reused for another customer.
We strongly recommend reviewing your digital proof carefully before providing final approval.
2. Memorill Memorial Website Products
Our personalised memorial website services are also created specifically for each customer using the stories, photographs, memories, and other materials provided to us.
We will provide an initial draft for your review before the project moves into its confirmed production stage.
Once you confirm that the initial draft is acceptable and authorise us to continue:
- The order can no longer be cancelled.
- The service is no longer eligible for a refund.
Your confirmation tells us that you are satisfied with the direction of the project and authorises our team to continue the personalised work.
3. Changes Before Final Approval
We want you to feel comfortable before approving your project.
If you would like to request reasonable changes to your memoir book proof or memorial website draft, please contact us before providing final approval.
Our team will work with you to address your feedback before the project proceeds to the next stage.
4. Damaged or Incorrect Physical Books
If your printed memoir arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or is materially different from the final digital proof you approved, please contact us promptly after delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs showing the problem
We will review the issue and work with you toward an appropriate solution.
This does not apply to content, spelling, photographs, layout choices, or other details that were already included in and approved through the final digital proof.
5. Refund processing
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow approximately 5–10 business days after processing; timing depends on your payment provider and financial institution.
6. Digital memoir packages
Paid digital memoir packages are not yet open for purchase. Package-specific cancellation and refund terms will be stated before checkout opens. The printed-book and custom-website approval rules above do not by themselves establish a no-refund rule for an AI interview or a downloaded PDF.
Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws, including for defective or non-conforming goods or services.
